The Z-Twins radio stations (KRIZ 1420AM and KYIZ 1620AM) are Washington state’s only African American, locally owned and operated radio stations with urban formats serving the Northwest since the early 1980’s.
The Z-Twins radio stations were founded by Chris H. Bennett and family under the umbrella of Bennett Media Group. They were built from a mission of ‘service’ to the community and to provide a voice for the voiceless. With the support of the community the stations have grown in popularity to become one of the most trusted sources for relevant news, community information, music, empowerment and celebration of African American culture and heritage in the Pacific Northwest.
